tired

No photo since wordpress is acting funny.  Or maybe it is my computer.  Who knows…

Applied for a position in Portland.  Had an interview this past Friday.  i think it went well, though I was quite nervous.  So… yeah.

Applied for a VA certificate of eligibility for the VA Loan.  Hope that goes through.  Would be nice to know that i do not have to put in a down payment for a cool condo in the future.

Hoping that this Portland thing goes through – though I would then need to move which will take a considerable amount of money.  Hmm…   I’d like to ask Miss Carter to join me, but I believe that would run the expenses up a bit.  Would be cheapest if I went myself.

Bronycon coming at the beginning of August.  Basically – within a month.  If I did get accepted to Portland, I would want to wait until Mid-August to go.  I’m willing to not attend Bronycon if that is what it takes.  Maybe I can get a refund on the admission fee and the hotel room.  The flight… well…. that will just suck.

Not looking forward to getting rid of my furniture.  But they are just things.  Like these books.  I’m starting to realize that my attachment to material goods is just that…. worthless attachments.  I should really just learn to do without.

My collection of books will need to be mailed to my father’s.  Then picked up via a uhaul or large truck or something.  That is going to be a pain.  And expensive.  Hopefully I can make  SOME amount of money off of all this furniture I have amassed.

Course, let me see if I get hired first.  I’m suppose to hear something within a week’s time.  Sigh.   That full GS-11 just needs to get here soon.  I need to have a paradigm shift, and change the way I spend my money.  When I go to bronycon. I won’t spend a lot.  I’m just going to get a few posters and that is it!   Get my favorite comic book artist to either commission something – if that is available, or just sign one of my comics.

OH!  and I had fun when I went to Seattle earlier this month.  Baby vinny looks adorkable *heh*.   I mean adorable.  I was in awe at how much of a mother my sister looks.

Oh, and Jamie of Jamieism.com is finally releasing her book.  Yay.

Oh!   and… um. That is it.  I had one more thing on my mind, but I forgot about it.  Guess it wasn’t all that important.  I hope mom and dad are doing okay back in Washington.  Mom and Jay are both applying for jobs elsewhere – so I wish them all the best.  Carter seems to be doing… as well as she can given the changes to her family (father passing away and all).  I imagine that it is still quite tough for her.  She is… much stronger than I am I think.  What am i saying.

But yeah.  OH THATS RIGHt.  I need to tone up before I get to portland (if i go).  Hopefully I can get two months  to prepare….
